Today’s families face many challenges. At Cape Cod Child Development we think that finding great child care, early education and family support services shouldn’t be among them. Through our core offerings, we offer a broad range of comprehensive services that include preschool/head start; and school-age programs; early intervention and assessment services; parent education and playgroups for children; support for teen parents and a network of family child care homes. Cape Cod Child Development is the largest provider of quality childcare, early education, developmental intervention and family support services on Cape Cod, the Islands and Wareham.
Message from the CEO
As Cape Cod Child Development approaches its half-century mark of service, it is my distinct honor to join the organization as the new Chief Executive Officer. Fifty years is quite a significant milestone among the Cape’s non-profits and our mission and services are truly more important than ever.
Through the years we have fostered wonderful collaborations with our constituents – I hope to build upon this important groundwork moving forward.
One of my highest priorities early in my tenure is to visit each of our sites, centers and also many of our home-based programs to meet the staff, families and children and to see firsthand your investments in us in action.
With a more long-range view in mind, I know that our future initiatives will focus on ways to ensure sustainability of current programs, explore steps we can take to scale core programs so we can serve more children and families, and to fulfill unmet needs as they relate to our mission in impactful and innovative ways.
Together, with your support, we can ensure that the services we provide today will be there for all who need them, now and for the next 50 years.
