Families United Network (F.U.N.)

Who: Families with children birth through school age

What: Parent education and family support for Barnstable families (currently available in Dennis & Yarmouth)

Raising young children is filled with joy, excitement, anxiety and challenges. Meet, share, connect and learn from one another through a variety of family activities offered through the Families United Network program. We support healthy parenting practices for families through parent/child play and learn groups, parent support groups, family events,  workshops and parent education opportunities.

Our well-trained staff and community experts can offer guidance in areas such as positive discipline, single parenting, fatherhood, raising strong girls, prenatal planning, postpartum depression and more.

A rich lending library of parenting books and videos, children’s books and educational brochures is also available to parents while community-wide events for the entire family are offered throughout the year.

Access to programs is free for families within the town of Barnstable. Click on the F.U.N. Newsletter below for current and upcoming programs and fundraising activities being offered this session.

All Families United Network programs are funded by a grant through the MA Dept. of Early Education and Care. Some programs are also funded through the MA Children's Trust Fund, collaborative efforts and fundraising.
