Families United Network (F.U.N.)
Who: Families with children birth through age 3
What: Parent education and family support for Barnstable families (currently available in Dennis & Yarmouth)
Raising young children is filled with joy, excitement, anxiety and challenges. Meet, share, connect and learn from one another through a variety of family activities offered through the Families United Network program. We support healthy parenting practices for families through parent/child play and learning groups, parent support groups and family workshops.
Our well-trained staff and community experts can offer guidance in areas such as positive discipline, single parenting, fatherhood, raising strong girls, prenatal planning, postpartum depression and more.
A rich lending library of parenting books and videos, children’s books and educational brochures is also available to parents while community-wide events for the entire family are offered throughout the year.
Access to programs is free for families within the town of Barnstable with children under 4 years of age. Click on the F.U.N. Newsletter below for current and upcoming offerings this session.
