Cape Cod Child Development Awards Scholarship!

Cape Cod Child Development is pleased to announce that Milly McCallops of East Falmouth is the recipient of this year’s Cathy Young Memorial Scholarship. Ms. McCallops plans to major in Special Education and hopes to pursue a career as a Special Needs teacher.
The Cathy Young Memorial Scholarship fund was established to honor the memory of Cathy Young, a teacher with Cape Cod Child Development for 17 years, who passed away in 2004. The scholarship is awarded each year to a graduating senior from Falmouth High School who will be pursuing a college degree in early childhood development or elementary education.
Cape Cod Child Development is an organization committed to providing care and community resources for the children and families of Cape Cod and the Islands. Our staff proudly serves more than 3,000 children and their families each year through childcare, educational and developmental intervention, and family support services.
