Big Shoes for Little Souls Raises Over $10,000!

Hyannis, MA, June 9, 2011 – Cape Cod Child Development’s Big Shoes for Little Souls running team raised more than $10,000 for the organization’s various programs including after-school, early intervention and preschool/Head Start! Thank you to the community and all our runners for their generous support.

Over 30 runners raised money by completing either the 5K, 7.25 mile or half-marathon race in the Great Hyannis Road Races on May 29th, 2011.

The local business community has made significant contributions by supporting their efforts with donations. Team sponsors, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, The Law Offices of John C. Manoog III, Rockland Trust, and Sanders, Walsh & Eaton, LLC, have donated $500 each and B.A. Event Promotions, the race organizer, supported their efforts by waiving registration fees.

Other local businesses showed their support by sponsoring the team at the $200 level and include: Bank of Cape Cod, Brazilian Grill, by Design Salon, Camp WingateKirkland, Dysart Creative, Gargiulo/Rudnick, LLP, Hanlon’s Shoes, Hyannis Foreign Auto Repair, M.J. Nardone Carpentry, NeuEon, Inc., Nutter McClennen & Fish, LLP, Pyramid Printing & Digital, Shepley Wood Products, former board president Sheryl Walsh, TD Bank, The Law Offices of Juliane Soprano, Trevi Cafe, Wm.
