Families with children birth through age 8 years of age
Parent education and family support for families in the seven villages of Barnstable. Funding is provided by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Grant through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.
Raising young children is filled with joy, excitement, anxiety and challenges. Meet, share, connect and learn from one another through a variety of family activities offered through the Families United Network program. We support healthy parenting practices for families through parent/child play and learn groups, parent support groups, family events, and workshops, and have a strong focus on family engagement, early literacy development, and resources.
Our well-trained staff and community experts can offer guidance in areas such as toddler behaviors, single parenting, fatherhood, postpartum depression and more.
Information and resources are available to families, and community-wide events for the entire family are offered throughout the year.
Access to programs is free for families with children birth to 8 years of age. Fundraising activities to support the Families United Network programs are ongoing through the year.
